who is the little anorak girl?
the little girl is english currently living in greece…i’m the girl half….but still flirting with thirty…and the other half…the boy…is the illustrator of the little anorak girl. the other half of me is part of pink milk: two old schoolfriends who now live in impoverished glamour in Paris and Crete. By day we are an English language teacher (that’s me) and a translator, but at night we can be found holed up making funky jewellery from vintage buttons and other kitschy finds, bit of a nightowl i’m afraid.
In an attempt to free up some wardrobe space, we also launched pink milk vintage, the perfect excuse to trawl the flea markets of Paris and Athens for one-of-a-kind vintage finds. In the face of rampant consumerism, buying handmade and vintage is the way to go, ensuring reuse and cutting down on wastage.
so besides teaching and depleting the world suppy of pink ink through marking, writing about pigeons who only speak in idioms, etsying, collecting vintage finds, I’m ticking off my 50 places to visit before death…
